Pots and Pans Sets

Cookware sets. Although they're a natural choice for wedding registries and anyone just starting out, they're also the perfect solution for home cooks who want to upgrade their current pots and pans with a set that's thoughtfully curated and easily built upon. With cookware sets from heritage brands like All-Clad and Le Creuset, as well options from newer (though no less venerable) companies, you'll find pots and pans to suit your cooking style and your space.

Stainless Steel Cookware Sets. A classic for a reason, stainless steel cookware sets are not only beautiful, but they're generally oven- and dishwasher-safe—making them a low-maintenance choice for everyday dishes. (Pro tip: For different types of cooking, consider getting a larger stainless steel set and augmenting it with a smaller pots and pans set or open-stock items for specialty dishes or specific cooking methods.)

Cast Iron Cookware Sets. Whether enameled or seasoned, cast iron cookware sets deliver essentials that heat slowly, evenly distribute heat and retain heat for a long period of time. Although both enameled and seasoned cast iron cookware sets are equally suited to simmering and searing—and typically stovetop and oven safe—only enameled cast iron is known to be dishwasher safe.

Nonstick Pan Sets. For easy cleanup, look to cookware sets with non-stick finishes. Though they're not often dishwasher safe, they are known for being easy to clean and offer an easy way to reduce (or eliminate) the fat used for cooking. You'll find cookware sets in classic (PFOA-free) finishes as well as ceramic pots and pans sets. Just be sure to use only silicone or wooden utensils to mitigate scratching so you can keep your cookware set in like-new condition for longer.
