Poor Quality! Beware!!

My husband bought these for me as a Christmas gift, I love the size and light weight but over a year later after light wear they broke! The post completely fell off. I reached out to Bloomingdale's about the quality issue assuming they would happily repair or replace an item from their own collection with a clear quality control issue. The agent told me they can only replace a quality issue within 30 days of purchase and when I said that can't be right and asked to speak to a manger the manager connected to me and then promptly hung up. I come from a family with three generations of women shopping at Bloomingdale's for important high quality purchases and guided my husband to shop here for gifts, but clearly Bloomingdale's isn't what it used to be and chooses not to stand behind purchases - especially of purchases that are their own Bloomingdale's line products! A 100% gold fine jewelry piece should last for many many years. Beware! I hope other reviews come back to update their reviews after 1+ year as I too would have given these 5 stars at first! I certainly hope Bloomingdale's reaches out to me following this review and will update here if they amend their customer service approach.
