Originally created in 1916, Colonia is the very definition of a timeless classic, a fragrance that expresses sunny elegance on all occasions. As soon as Acqua di Parma's instantly recognisable golden fruits blend of radiant lemon, Calabrian bergamot and orange start to spill their luminous notes into the air, the perfume's sparkling character comes alive. It is amplified even more in the aromatic heart of the fragrance where lavender and hints of rose harmoniously intertwine with aromatic rosemary. Warm and precious woody notes of vetiver, sandalwood and patchouli round off the base of this iconic Eau de Cologne.
Colonia comes in the iconic Acqua di Parma bottle, a must-have design object with Art Deco influences. The classic white labels echo the timeless, universally-loved character of the Eau de Cologne while the box, characterized by its cylinder shape, is dressed in our signature yellow shade. The coat of arms on the label underlines the long history of the Maison.

Fresh clean citrus
Lovely fresh clean scent. This perfume Is an old classic and with good reason. It lasts well throughout the day but is not overpowering. It’s a more spring summery scent depending on your preference. Beautiful elegant bottle great for a gift as very few people will dislike it.

A classic for a reason
My husband has been wearing this for a couple of years and I love it. It’s such a classic and clean scent. Even though it’s quite classic, it doesn’t feel dated. It’s not overpowering and I find the longevity it’s very decent. I can see how this might not be for everyone but we really love it.

Acqua di Parma’s Colonia eau de cologne is such a classy, timeless fragrance. I first purchased it for my son a few years ago and it remains a firm favourite of his. It smells fresh, clean and zesty. Absolute class in a bottle. Can’t recommend this highly enough!

Iconic Cologne
This has an iconic timeless quality, with top notes of zesty citrus and dries down to a musky woody and somewhat floral scent. Great to try a sample of this with my order but knocked a star off as there is no longevity and it is pricey taking that into consideration.

Husband’s favourite
I repeatedly buy this in for my husband, as he’s chosen it as his new signature scent. On a piece of card it’s very fresh and light and on my husband takes on a slightly deeper smell and lasts very well. He runs through it quickly though, so perhaps he puts too much on!!

Nice but pricey
I received this product as part of the Space NK Fragrance Advent Calendar. I was delighted to receive this as the scent is really nice, the bottle I received was travel sized too which was nice as it easily fits inside my handbag. Pricey product but I feel as though it is worth it.

A clean but uninspiring smell
I’m not sure about this Acqua di Parma Colonia eau de cologne. On paper I should love it as it has citrus top notes which I usually go for (Lemon, Sweet Orange, Calabrian Bergamot) and there is apparently Sandalwood in there as well as a base note. But the nuances are lost on me and it just smells like soap. It’s a clean smell but not something I would buy for myself (this was a sample product)

Iconic cologne
If you want to feel like elegant and chic Italian, I recommend hou this parfum. Do not expect anything heavy and long lasting, it is eau de cologne, it is not even possible to make this type of scent that way, but is its magic. Sharpy and fresh citruses, musky cleanness like from old school barbers and you can apply this scent more times during the day and you will feel refreshed and brave.
