Love everything except the cap sleeves

This is a gorgeous dress and I ordered it as a possibility for my mother-of-the-groom dress. I was so excited that the color seems perfect to complement the bridal party colors. Only bad side-- the cap sleeves are really not flattering unless you have thin or very shapely arms. I'd love to have them altered to a sleeveless look instead, but I don't think it's doable due to the way the embroidery is done. I am 5'2", 135lbs and most people would say I don't look overweight at all (well, maybe a bit of 58 year old lady tummy). But I do have a large bust (36DD). I ordered the 10 for that reason, but it still doesn't fit quite right. This means that the neck line bows out in the center unless I keep the cap sleeves pulled hard all the way to the outside, and they are a bit tight on my shoulders as a result. Not sure yet if I'll return this, but I'm going to keep looking. And yes, the lace is a bit scratchy, but not bad. And the annoyance is small compared to wearing high heels! :)
