Made me feel beautiful!

Shopping for MOB dress. This was the first time I felt beautiful. But I returned it because it is too heavy for a summer wedding. Shed a few tears.

Lovely Dress

The style of the dress is lovely. The color is more of an aubergine than the burgundy it looks in the photos. It runs just a bit large. The main issue is that it is way too long and will need to be professionally hemmed unless one is an expert seamstress. My daughter wants me in more of a burgundy for her wedding but if it fit properly I would keep it. I have scoliosis which has progressed with age and babies. It is very challenging to find a dress that disguises it and this one does. I am returning it for now but may revisit if I can’t find anything else.

Great dress for slightly less formal event

The blouson style that so many Adrianna Papell gowns have is extremely flattering to an apple-shaped figure. I was stunned at how much slimmer I looked! The beading was beautiful and I liked the color -- even though it was more purple than I was expecting. Unfortunately, the cut of the sleeves and the neckline gave this dress a less formal look than I am looking for as MOG. But for a different event, this would be a winner!
