  • How To Use It

    On first use, burn Candle until the entire surface melts. Subsequently, ensure the wick is trimmed to a maximum length of 0.2", to help prevent smoke and residue. If necessary, re-center the wick with care after extinguishing the flame--while wax remains molten.

Lovely candle

I can’t bring myself to give this full marks as the price point is simply not worth it. That being said, the jar is beautiful and I have since reused it as I’ve never found a candle so understated and chic. The scent was clean, crisp and suited to winter.

Practically scent-free.

I love the Aesop product fragrances and am a fan of scented candles, so thought I'd treat myself. I expected my home to be filled with a woodsy-herby fragrance but got absolutely nothing. It barely smells when coming out of the box and doesn't get any stronger as it warms up. I could just about smell something if I got very close up. I also let it burn for a long time to see if that helped, but no. I feel a bit cheated to be honest - especially considering the price tag. On a positive note. The jar itself is beautiful so I'm using it as a bit of an ornament now that the candle is gone.

Disappointed

I am a huge fan of Aesop for years and this might be the only product I dislike from the brand. I love the design of the cancel, so simple yet classic. The scent, however, is so light to a point that I have to get so close to the candle to be able to smell anything. Very disappointed.

Nice candle

Great candle from Aesop, sleek design that goes with the brands ethos. Has a nice woody and kind of earthy smell. Burns well and has a good throw.
