Painful square toe

I ordered these beautiful looking shoes for my daughter's wedding but the leather is completely unyielding/does not soften or conform to the foot as other leather, and the square box toe literally bruised my right toe.

So uncomfortable

The top part of this shoe digs into the base of my big toe making every step unbearable. The leather at the edge has no give. I can’t wear these at all.

Beautiful well made shoes; run small

I love these shoes. They are beautiful and very well made. They were too small for me and I will change. For reference: I am a 9.5 US and ordered the Euro 40. They are not wide enough for my taste.
