When the first fully bonded pan rolled off its Pennsylvania assembly line more than 50 years ago, All-Clad forever changed the cookware industry. Founder John Ulam's background was not in cuisine but in metalworking—and through Ulam's brilliant cross-pollination of industries, a superior brand of cookware was born. Today, the same heritage and innovation that allowed Ulam to develop the first All-Clad pan is honored in every product that the brand's Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, team produces. Using modern ideas and time-honored techniques, every pot, pan, skillet, and saucier is crafted by hand—from bonding and forming to finishing and riveting—before making its way into your home.
- Enameled cast iron; trivet: acacia wood
- Hand wash

Absolutely Gorgeous!
It is absolutely beautiful! Used to reheat some holiday soup, but haven't braised anything yet!

Not as advertised
I like this brand, but when the pan arrived it was not what the dimensions said online! It was smaller in diameter by an inch and a half, who’s makes a big difference. Also, the box arrived in a bad condition, and the trivet was not in the box.

A problem
We love the braiser. It cooks very well. One problem a piece of the enamel coating just fell off of one of the handles before it was even used. It doesn't affect the pot itself but the coating must be defective. that shouldn't happen

What we have been looking for.
Very high quality. Perfect for stews, soups. Replacing an old commercial aluminum that had a rounded bottom, this pot works on a smooth top stove.

Nice Quality
Well made. I have several All-Clad copper core pans, and a good selection of cast iron including dutch ovens and at least on nice carbon steel pan. I wanted an enameled cast iron braiser to add to my cooking experiences. This is slightly deeper than I expected, and the metal is a bit thinner than expected. Both turned out to be a benefit and it seems to cook very well. So far I have made a casserole, pork chops, chicken breast, and a couple of dishes where the high sides and wide bottom allow better utilization for larger quantities of veggies and meat cooked together where a fry pan would be too shallow and a dutch oven too deep. The trivet is excellent to allow serving direct from the braiser, which is nice because the cast iron stays warm for a while. Clean up is relatively easy, and it is not too heavy to handle.
