Copper Core Chef's Pan
Product Details
Web ID: 28739Best shape for pan and lid
The shape of the pan is perfect for cooking anything, especially asian cooking, and the domed lid shape allows for good steaming. A bit tricky to avoid food getting stuck to pan, but when it works its like a dream

Hello lumy, We are thrilled to know that you are enjoying your All-Clad Copper Core Chef's Pan with lid! We hope that this pan has ignited your passion in the kitchen and inspired you to create many mouthwatering recipes. Just a magnificent tool.
While I've been cooking with All Clad for the past 20 years (14pc LTD) the past six months have brought me to this, my 4th Copper-Core All Clad. I own the 10" Fry Pan, The 3quart saucer, The 12" Fry Pan and now this beauty. I purchased this for a specific job, Christmas Dinner (Chippileni) which included 3 Dozen Little Neck clams, 5Lbs of Cockels, 2 Pound of Squid, 3Lbs of Shrimp and 2Lbs of Bay Scallops. (All cooked separately but added to the clams at the end.) Everything fit and the helper handle came in handy. For my oven I use Le Creuset bakeware with some pans and grills. I'm a pretty serious chef and while I eat out every so often I mostly cook at home almost every night. These are tools and they're the best tools on the market for the job. I will never purchase anything other then All Clad Copper Core.

Over retaining
The designer of this pan obviously does not cook , pan weight too much, but the handle way too small

Love this pan
Love this pan! Perfect large skillet for us! Assist handle is great when it's full. Heavy skillet but not too heavy for me to manage with one hand.

Best pan ever
I use it to do everything - steam, stir fry, stew, pan fry. It's beautiful and functional. My only issue is it's heavy but that's expected,

Love this pan...
Growing up my mom always had stainless steel pans, did not like them because everything started getting stuck in the bottom of the ban and sometimes got burnt, so I've been using for over 10 years non-stick pans... after lot's of research I decide to replace all of them with the all-clad copper core.... little bit of researching also how to use them.. in summary, I just love it. I don't get things stuck in the bottom, I can fry eggs better than before, sear meet to perfection.... The only thing that I may complain is that I spend a little extra time cleaning them since I like it to be shinning, but otherwise is perfect... at least until now.

I am really in love with the All-Clad Copper Core!
This product is expensive but worth every penny. The only problem I found is the sets just aren't configured with the pans I used the most so I decided to just buy a piece at a time. My first purchase was the 2qt saucier which is still the most useful size/shape. The chef's pan is kind of like a cross between a wok and a saucepan so I get a lot of use out of it. If you don't have any of the All-Clad Copper Core products there are only a few things you need to know. The first is they are heavy. They have longer handles than typical pots and pans. The heat conductivity is outstanding. It's hard for me to even turn my stove low enough to for a low simmer. They clean up well. They look beautiful. If you want to fry an egg.. have a non-stick for that. Otherwise, they are just fabulous. If I had a kitchen where a pot rack would work, I would proudly display them. As far as I'm concerned, they are kitchen art!
