[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Extremely comfortable - I tried a dozen other pairs of boots before settling on these. They feel broken in out of the box and they’re the only pair I can move my toes in while still feeling snug. They look great as well.

Excellent winter boot
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the boot, it is comfortable (after the first few days to break into the leather), waterproof and reasonably warm (although when it is really cold, my feet can feel a bit cold in them). Despite the ziper, they are not super easy to put on without a shoehorn. My main gripe is about the shape. They are a bit too rounded and almost look like Doc Martens shoes. I wish the were shaped more like a dress shoe. Overall a great winter boot though.

Really nice

Seriously Robust Boot!
Nice quality heavy duty boots! I feel like I’m ready for some seriously foul weather when I wear these. I had wanted some taller boots with a zipper for a while now. These fit that bill in exemplary fashion.

Should have bought the other sole.

Zip didn't work well for me
Zip wasn't as convenient as I thought it would be (i.e. hoping it would be a slip on) since with the laces tight, it can't be slipped on, rather the laces have to be rather loose for an easy slip in. Aside for the zip, stitching had several almost-major frays, but I think I can burn them off - I just left them. I really liked the fit and had a good width for the 9E size - fits my foot really well. The boots were surprisingly light, which can be good or bad depending on how you look at it. I initially thought bad quality because of the light weight, but was reminded of the benefits of a non-steel shank for weight reduction. The leather is soft and didn't need much break in. I a boots newbie, so take all what I'm saying with a grain of salt, but overall, I think this is a decent boot, but would have just gotten the regular non-zip version since the side-zip is actually a negative for me.
