Made Well But Thin

I am all about fair trade especially handmade goods. Overall this is a well made piece and it's really beautiful, I love the colors and the fact that it's 100% cotton. I was expecting at least a medium weight since it's 6 layers of cotton but it's very thin, you can almost see through it when you hold it up to the light. I decided to keep it, but it's more decorative than useful. The rectangular shape lends to it looking nice as a throw across the lower half of my bed.
