Would not recommend

This cleanser is colourless and has a gel-like consistency. It does not lather up super easily, but cleans the skin well enough. However, I did not like the eucalyptus scent, which was both strong and clinical. As a result, I struggle to justify the high price - it certainly does not provide a luxurious body cleanse.

Overpriced.

I received a deluxe sample of the AB body cleanser from Space NK skin care box. It's nothing really special. Yes, it will clean your skin, smells alright but for 200ml at over 40 ouch not value you for money if it isn't providing additional skin care beneifts you would expect at that price point. I'll stick to my Method body wash- 532ml for under 5 quid.

Good but not amazing

I was sent a large sample of this with a purchase. I have tried a number of products in this range and have found them to be very effective, so I was prepared for great things from this. However, while the gel was pleasant to use and certainly cleaned my skin the overwhelming scent made using it more of a clinical experience than the luxury I expected. It would be great to use after a visit to the gym, but I wouldn’t use it before a night out as it would fight with my perfume!

Smells cheap

I received a sample of this as part of a free gift promotion. I was intrigued to try because of the brand name and reputation however it’s really not great. It smells like a cheap body wash and actually didn’t fully leave me feeling clean. It is really overpriced for what it is.

Nice enough cleanser

It is hard to write a review of this without taking into account the enormous price tag. It is a nice enough body cleanser. It has a fresh scent, leaves skin feeling clean and soft without feeling at all stripped and doesn't irritate my skin in any way. However, I can't see anything special enough about it to justify a £40 plus price tag. For me the smell wasn't even special enough to think that that was original enough to want to use it (like for example Diptyque Do Son shower oil). I definitely wouldn't buy this (I was using a sample) and wouldn't consider buying it for a special gift for someone either.

Ok but

I was pleased to try this body was product from such a prestigious brand. However, it was a slightly pine scent that actually reminded me of radix. I accept that some of their face products are top end but this body wash could have been mistaken for something from a chemists. The price point doesn’t reflect good value upon this occasion especially as we have very large bottles and genuinely moisturising naturium st half the price. That’s only my opinion.

Not worth the cost

I’ve just finished up this after receiving 8ml tube in the space nk spring reset gift with purchase. I have a massive stash of beauty products that I am making my way through in order so only using this now. I love AB the rich cream so was excited by this but honestly it was nothing special I felt the scent was very artificial smelling and texture wise it didn’t feel any more luxury than supermarket brands.

Scent not great

I received this product in a recent promotion by Space NK. As I love eucalyptus, I was looking forward to trying the product. A small amount went a long way, my skin felt great after use but the downside was the product scent. Rather than eucalyptus, it was more like the 'pine car freshener' - sorry if this sounds harsh Augustinus Bader, but I couldn't get the thought out of my head whilst using! So not for me.
