I tried Augustinus Bader The Cream for several days, eager to like it after the disappointment with The Rich Cream. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out for me either. My sensitive skin reacted badly, breakouts appeared, and oddly it didn’t feel properly moisturised either. Considering the hefty price, I expected much more. Sadly, this one’s a miss for my skin.

I use this in the morning for the day. Not greasy Ann’s works well with makeup. I wish AB made face foundations

I bought this cream having tried the rich cream as I really liked that one but wanted something more lightweight for my oily skin. Honestly I was quite unimpressed by this. It’s a nice cream for sure and definitely hydrated my skin very well, but for the price tag I didn’t notice anything special about it.

Take care if you have sensitive skin
I received a sample of The Cream recently and couldn't wait to try it. It is really a luxury item that I wouldn't purchase for myself, so I was excited to try it. I was disappointed that my sensitive skin had a negative reaction to it :( Sadly not for me, and others with sensitive skin should take care!

I have been using this cream since it came out, and there really is nothing else out there that works the same for me. I have very sensitive, combination skin, and this provides the perfect level of moisture without feeling greasy, and no irritation whatsoever. While it's not cheap, it's made a huge difference in my skin, and I would highly recommend.

I have just purchased this for the second time. I took a risk in the smallest bottle 6 months ago and really noticed an improvement in my skins texture and overall appearance in a short time. I then tried the Sturm cream and just didn’t see any results or feel it did anything for my skin at all. I then bought my old go to cream chantecaille flower harmonising cream which I love but have not been able to ignore that much like the sturm cream I didn’t see any difference. So basically I have realised that this one is actually effective and I can’t justify spending on a cream of if I don’t see actual results in my skin. I waited for a deal and bought the bigger size as the small one didn’t last very long.

The moisturiser of one’s dreams. It’s light yet nourishing; hydrating and smoothing; comforting and soothing. Bader is worthy of its cult following because of this. The Rich Cream is great for winter and this is summer perfect. I love the pump too which protects the formula.
