Beware of Deceptive Size Description

I have owned this bag in navy/white for years and absolutely love it, so I wanted to get the black/white as well. Bloomingdales offers two sizes. I knew my size was not "XXS", so I ordered the "Small". Turns out Balenciaga offers three sizes, and the one I wanted is actually "XS". The size descriptions (which originate with Balenciaga, not Bloomingdales) are very deceiving because the "Small" in black/white is gigantic, much bigger than the navy/white I currently own. For comparison, the "Small" is actually larger than every lampshade in my home. I returned the Bloomingdales order and purchased the "XS" somewhere else. I realize the measurements for the sizes are shown in the product description, but a simple small, medium, large description of the sizes would save everyone a lot of time and trouble (again, this is a comment more relavent to Balenciaga than to Bloomingdales). Calling a tote that's the size of a standard lampshade "small" is really wonky.

Incorrect item description

Ordered the bag thinking that it was lined and had a crossbody strap but it has neither. Kind of disappointed and the customer service associate doesn’t believe me that the description is wrong
