Bernardaud cracked
We love this line but we experienced the dinner plates cracking in the microwave and eventually splitting in two. Description does not say microwave safe but it does say “ideal for the most demanding conditions of use”. Odd that an every day China would not be microwaveable.

Beautiful durable everyday dinnerware
We only registered for china when we got married, so I’ve been meaning to upgrade our mismatched white dinnerware with something a little bit nicer/more special for years. We both love the unfussy thrown pottery look of these pieces, and the true white color mixes well with our existing white serving pieces (no gray or cream tinge here). They also wash up great in the dishwasher. We have the dinner plates, salad plates, and open vegetable bowls, and I’ll probably add more pieces during the next Friends and Family sale.

Great dishes
We registered for these for our wedding, and could not be happier with them! They are a nice weight, durable, and crisp white that goes with everything. And the hand-thrown look is a nice addition that gives it a little extra style. We have the dinner plates, salad plates, a couple of serving pieces, and large teacups / saucers. The only negative is that several of our pieces - including the cereal bowls - have been backordered for MONTHS and I'm not sure when we're ever going to receive them. So if that's a concern, make sure the pieces you choose are not on backorder - Bloomingdales keeps backing up the ship date.

Wonderful white dinnerware
I can't count the number of white dinnerware sets I've looked at... we chose The Bernardaud Origine dinnerware collection, and it is lovely in its simplicity and design. We have the dinner and salad plates, and we are waiting for the mugs and cereal bowls to arrive. The white is pure and the weight of the dishes is comfortable. They are easy to grab for a lunchtime meal, and beautiful on the table in a cool or warm setting. We are very happy with our choice.

Perfect for everyday and occasion dining
We registered for these for our wedding, and absolutely love them. We use them everyday and for dinner parties. They are even more beautiful close up. They have also proved durable. Highly recommend.

Love It!
We love this line! With the different colors, you can create a pretty setting. I wish they made more pieces in light blue color. I'd love to have bowls in that color!
