BernardaudOrigine Medium Bowl

Useful and elegant small bowls

When my everyday dishes were beginning to look tired, I replaced them with the Bernardaud Origine pattern. I believe Bernardaud makes these bowls in an even smaller size, but the medium size is already quite small--around the size of a teacup without the handle. We use them for individual servings of yogurt or fresh berries at the breakfast table. I have found the Bernardaud porcelain to be a pure milky white, where other brands of French porcelain tend to be slightly grayer. I have only used them for two weeks, but so far they wash up beautifully in the dishwasher and show no chips or gray marks from flatware.
