NOT AS ADVERTISED - these are not "Swivel" chairs
The description for this product says "Swivel Design" which is very misleading, as you would think they would sit on a flat base and actually swivel around the base. But instead they have a Swivel "look" (as stated by Bloomingdale's customer service), which is false advertizing! As a result, these chairs cause major damage to wooden flooring due to caster wheels (obviously a carpeted surface would not work due to the caster wheels) - the chairs are also very heavy. I definitely don’t recommend purchasing these due to the significant damage they cause to wooden flooring, and most importantly I also don’t recommend purchasing from Bloomingdales as they say you only have a three day window for furniture returns - there is absolutely no way you would see that much damage within three days. We had initially ordered four chairs but they returned one back upon delivery as the delivery people noticed it was damaged, so while waiting for a replacement chair this is when we’ve noticed the damage to the flooring, just a few months later. We’ve advised Bloomingdales of both issues (only being supplied with three chairs and the major damage to the floor), but they’re refusing to rectify as they’re not allowing us to return the three chairs for a full refund. Obviously we are extremely unhappy!
