Cute but need to break in
I've received multiple compliments on these out and about. However when I first put them on, they were very hard. I understand this is normal for Birkenstocks and they need to been broken in for your feet. I'm 8.5 and would size up if you want to wear socks. Also get a suede eraser as the color scuffs easily in parking lots etc

The shearling of the pair I purchased this year is much thinner and less plush than the shearling of the pair that I bought six years ago that I was hoping to replace or just keep as a backup. But my old pair with shearling that has been matted down with wear still feels thicker and cozier than these new ones where I can feel the cork bottom through the shearling. The description claims it is geniune shearling, but it feels like wool that was grafted onto a leather backing, or the sheep it came from did not have a healthy thick coat.
