SPARKLING diamond heart hindered by flawed Design

My boyfriend purchased this yellow gold Diamond Heart Necklace as a birthday gift for me. It features two heart pendants on a thin yet strong chain showcasing excellent craftsmanship. The larger heart, studded with diamonds, shines brilliantly, easily scoring a 5/5 for its dazzling sparkle The image shown does not reflect the amazing sparkle and the hearts are not side by side the tiny puff heart is meant to sit on top of the diamond heart yet it moves behind it becoming obscured and hidden.The chain, though thin is not fragile.It is crafted with strong durable links that shine reflecting excellent attention to detail YET, the design is flawed by an intrusive circle clasp in the center of the chain that cheapens the overall look and limits versatility. This flaw prevents the pendants from being detached, hindering their use of being interchangeable. Overall despite the high quality materials and the BEAUTIFUL DIAMOND HEART the clasp is an eyesore giving the piece a 3/5.
