Below grade expectations

The color on the website did not really match the actual product, even if accounting for pearls, which have slight variations naturally. I also wish Bloomingdale’s included pearl grades on the description. I wrongly assumed that the pearls were a higher grade since the original, non-sale price tag was around $2k.

Pretty but not so golden

I tried to see these earrings in person but the two stores I visited didn’t have any gold pearl jewelry available. The pearls are pretty with minor imperfections but they’re more creamy in color than golden. I’ve seen inexpensive gold pearls online at other stores but wonder if they’re real. Although I had hoped to have received deeper-golden colored pearls, I decided to keep them especially after a fine-jewelry shop owner said the pearls were pretty.

Color and shape not as pictured

Color is more like off white than golden and the shape is not round at all.
