Very POOR QUALITY!!

I ordered a pair of black tahitian pearl earrings. I was so excited to get them as a gift for my daughter. They arrived not as beautiful black pearls but look like dull, ball bearings, if you know what those look like. Very ugly. I am so disappointed, they were to be her main gift. NOT Bloomingdale’s usual high quality. Of course returning.

Color varies significantly between pearls. Impossible to know what color you’ll get when you order online sight unseen, but very nice pearls nonetheless.

Black Pearl Earrings - green hue

The earrings have a green tint to them, which is not captured well in the product photos. I bought these pearls along with a Bloomingdales black pearl necklace (also from the 100% exclusive collection, Web ID: 3773584). I had assumed the pearl color would match but the two are very different, with the necklace being a much prettier black pearl. For the price and given they are both Bloomingdales exclusive collection, I would have expected the earrings to have a better color pearl.
