I got this as part of the excellent Boy Smells exploratory set. It was one of my favourites of the set although, as 4 of them smell of rhubarb and are quite sweet, I could happily buy any. Despite the name, there are no parma violets here (thank goodness!) - just rhubarb and smoke. A delicious combination!

Woody, smoky, addictive
This is my first venture into the world of Boy Smells and I love it. It’s a sweet and smoky smell, quite heady, and it dries down to a really woody, strong fragrance. I find myself sniffing my wrist when I wear it. It’s very like byredo’s Mixed Emotions, but slightly smokier.

Not what I was expecting - quite masculine
I bought the sample kit, keen to try a few Boy Smell fragrances and I this was not what I expected at all. It's very woody and smoky which is the type of fragrance I like, but this is quite manly and I don't want to smell like a bloke! It's a very 'moreish' fragrance, meaning I keep smelling it on my wrist as it's so warm and inviting. If this was worn by a man I think I would keep nuzzling into his neck, but I can't imagine wearing it myself.

Perfect autumn fragrance
I’ll be honest, I only purchased this fragrance for the name as I wanted to smell like Parma Violets - but this is not that! It’s more of a warm fruity fragrance with the rhubarb nut with Smokey and woody undertones. The packaging is to die for, and it’s definitely one to have if you like fragrances that aren’t typical!

Smoke, wood, velvet
There is something about this scent that feels very warm and velvety. First impression is a little on the sweeter side (not usually my thing) but the dry down is much more woodier. I think it’s more of an autumn/winter scent. Wood need some sort of citrus to be more wearable in spring/summer I think. Overall, a very lovely warm and comforting scent.

lovely smell
I feel like this brand is the new byredo. I like the edginess of the packaging. The perfume is quite strong - I'm not the best at describing scents, but it's very unique. I would highly suggest going into the store to try it before you commit to buying it online. Overall a great product and long lasting.

Smoky and woody
This perfume is unique to me, which I love it's smoky and woody, musky with a hint of freshness. I love the tobacco and the smoky smell. It's more of a winter scent. It's masculine and feminine at the same time, if that makes sense. This is the third perfume I've bought from Boy Smells and it does not disappoint. LOVE!!!

Lovely but weak
This is so lovely but lasts hardly at all on me. Much less smoky than I was expecting from the description it’s very wearable. Lasts better on clothes than skin so spray on a scarf or jumper. Definitely one to try before you buy, also the box is huge!
