Great machine but unrelenting emails to review the product

Very good machine.
My third Breville machine. I never descaled the last one, so it didn't last as long as I assumed it would have, hence the tentative four rather than a definite five stars.

Double wall filter holder makes amazing crema
I had a Breville Cafe Roma for 15 years before updating with the Bambino. My only dislike is that the steel exterior is much thinner than the thick, sturdy Cafe Roma. But WOW - the Bambino makes really excellent espresso, with thick, rich crema! HINT - do NOT use the single wall filter holder that comes installed. Switch to the double wall, which is indicated in the manual only for lower quality or old espresso. I had freshly roasted, freshly ground, high quality espresso and the single wall filter holder made garbage espresso. The double wall makes thick, luxurious crema and delicious espresso. So that's my recommendation. Otherwise I love how fast it is. Great machine!

This little machine is wonderful
So far I am loving this little machine! It is so easy to use compared to espresso machines I have tried in the past. The milk frother preforms very well too!

Terriby cheap machine. Not up to Breville standards.
I returned the Bambino; it was cheaply made and didn't live up to what I expect from a Breville machine. I instead got the Barista Express for my summer home (a model I already have at my main residence) and am delighted with it. I had hoped for a smaller machine without built in grinder, as I have a separate Breville burr grinder, but the Bambino was not it. Just not what Breville should be putting its name on.

Love my Bambino!
Love my Bambino! It took a bit of experimenting with coffee variety and grind size but now I consistently get a great cup of coffee I really like that it doesn't take up a lot of room on the counter. The machine arrived less than a week after I ordered it on-line. I would definitely recommend this machine to a friend.
