The conical burr grinder offers 30 settings, and assisted tamping guarantees a precise, polished puck of grounds every time for even brewing and less mess. The first home espresso machine with automatic settings for non-dairy milk, the Impress froths lush microfoam—automatically adjusted to your desired temperature, texture and type of milk—with the hands-free steam wand. WHY WE LOVE IT:
Not only does the Barista Touch Impress have Auto Milq but the steam wand also operates in Manual Mode for more direct control over milk texture and temperature. The Auto Milq has some guardrails built in that prevent scalding but still provide a good result on temp and texture for various types of milk. Best splurge i ever did!
I was hesitant to buy this with the price but it was on sale- and I'm so glad i did. We live in a remote area and don't get to many cafés so this is the best coffee fix! I always laughed at coffee snobs before, but once you make and taste a truly good coffee there's no going back! And this machine makes it easy for beginners to make truly good coffee- cappuccino, latte, tea, and much much more!

Love the Touch Impress
We decided to purchase the Breville Barista Touch Impress in Sep 2024 and honestly, I am glad we made the purchase. The touch impress is my wife's and I first breville product and after reading all of the reviews from here as well as from reddit, I was almost deterred from even purchasing one. I decided to give it a shot after watching many video reviews praising the machine as a capable espresso machine. I honestly have no regrets after three months of ownership and have used the machine everyday for the last three months; and I do mean everyday (we love coffee). This thing is a workhorse. As I mentioned, even though this was our first breville machine, we did get to play around with an Oracle numerous times from a friends house as well as the Barista Touch and honestly, this machine is quite refined compared to those. I personally have never had any problem with the Touch Impress. One thing I did have issues with at first was finding the right grind setting. The default grind setting was not cutting it even after adjusting the dial. After removing the inner burr and adjusting it manually, I never had any issues again finding the right grind size. Hope this helps somebody and help with the decision making. I do plan on making any updates if any issues should arise with our Touch Impress.

Barista Touch Impress - Flickering
After 5 months, the screen started flickering and the machine would reboot multiple times in a row with no way of stopping it except to unplug the machine. It is possible that we were simply unlucky but my in-laws bought the same model a month after us and it does the exact same thing. Breville offered to replace the product. Hopefully, it survives more than 5 months this time.

Love it!
All in all this machine works great! My husband is obsessed as he wakes up every morning with a quality cup of coffee. Easy to make and delicious.

Power off automatically during frothing. Will never buy this again
I bought this machine a week ago. It worked well 3-4 times. Now it automatically powers off when using the last milk frother option. I am very much disappointed with this machine. I never had expected issues from an expensive and well brand product . That’s why I purchased it

Love it!
We bought the machine back in May 2024, and have no regrets. We are newbies at making espresso drinks and chose this one because we needed the guidance the machine provides. There is still a small learning curve, but it has been a lot of fun. We stick to the basic drinks and don’t have reason to save our preferences, so so that feature is not useful to us. The drinks it produces are delicious and make the mornings special. Highly recommend this machine, as it has been useful and fun. And it is beautiful, too! :)
