I bought this very excited, as I love the Breville brand and have the coffee machine and also the toaster oven (both I love). This blender however is not powerful enough, it struggles to even blend up frozen bananas, had to cut them up into very small pieces in order for it to blend a smoothie. I returned this blender, disappointed.

I really like the blender. I works great for my daily smoothies. I like the options and built in timers.

Leaking lid gasket
This blender has a major design fault in the lid gasket. Junk will rot under gasket if you don’t remove it for cleaning every time it is used. The lid needs to be one piece plastic like all other blenders.

Better than okay but not the best
This does not make a smoothie with frozen fruit as easily as the company advertises. That being said…..with a whole lot of liquid it will eventually make a very nice smoothie. For the price .. next time I’d invest more and get a vitamix.

Mixed mixer muse
First, the blender is a quality product and performs better than a previously owned Instapot blender. Lucky to get the blue color as well. Good looking appliance. I just hope I don't have any mechanical problems like my bambino espresso machine. Still waiting for a call back from multiple attempts to resolve. Disappointing from brand image expectations of above average quality. -jg

Greatest Blender Ever
I bought my blender a few weeks ago, and couldn't be happier. Its perfect for my morning smoothies. So easy to clean.

Blends well, but very loud and difficult lid
Most importantly: it does its job as a blender very well. No issues on that front. There are however 2 reasons why even my 3 star rating feels generous. The first is that it is the loudest blender I've ever had. The "smoothie" button uses the highest speed setting, and you better make sure everyone in the house is okay with being woken up. The other issue is that the rubber band around the lid gets dirt trapped under it. I removed it to clean it, and after putting it back the lid has even more difficulty fitting than before. You now have to put some serious effort into pushing it down.
