The Smart Grill was a one hit wonder until it wasn't. I loved searing salmon, cooking paninis, pancakes, etc. Ease of being able to put plates into dishwasher was great as well. However..... the biggest frustration is that the grill "errors" out quite often if over 350 degrees in the middle of cooking. It has been an ongoing frustration. The other complaint is that the plates rub off black on your fingers when handling plates after cleaning. This grill is too expensive to have these issues. SOS!

Great grill!
Selected this grill begrudgingly for a long service award but not regretted it since. Great for breakfasts, pancakes, steak and burgers. Easy to use, easy to clean and good functionality. I would like to see a set of waffle plates, similar to the Sear and Press.

Not so great plates
I bought the Smart Grill. I have cleaned the grill after every use. The plates have something black coming off them after couple of uses. Those black particles I believe is the coating from the plates. Its horrible.

Awesome grill
I live where there is always raining during winter that I cant grill outside often. This grill is lifesaver and awesome. Juicy chicken breasts with seared marks and salmon filets too. What more can I say...

Good not great
The positives: it’s very sturdy, made of great materials. The plates come on and off easily and wash with minimal amount of effort. I purchase extra plates so I can have both sides match. Grids and flats, to sear meats or make bigger batches of pancakes. Negatives: it doesn’t get hot enough. It really needs to get hotter!!! To sear proteins this griddle needs to get a lot hotter. For everything else that’s not meant for searing, it’s great.

13 years and still going strong, built to last!
Beville makes such high quality products, you can't go wrong. I purchased tis grill 13 years ago when i lived in the city and was unable to grill outdoors. I've used it from everything from pancakes to paninis, steaks to grilled cheeses. Easy to clean with the removable plates and stores away vertically or horizontally. Coming back because i wanted to see if I could buy additional plates, it came with one grill and one flat plate. Thrilled with this product, not surprised its still available for sale after all these years!

Great GRILL
I have had this grill for 11 years. replaced one grill plat my fault for using abrasives to clean it. I only us soap and water and a plastic scrubber. And sock in water. I now have there Smart Oven and very satisfied with that.
