Great coffee + grinder
Just what i was looking for and all in one grinder coffee maker. Simple and quick makes a great cup of coffee. One can adjust grind and strength either per cup or for carafe. The One reason that I gave it a 4 star instead of a 5 star is that the water container is NOT removable. You need to follow the easy directions to pump out the water when you need to but I like to make sure there is not old water and without being able to take the tank off I am not sure if all the old water is out of the tank.

Great features
I bought this about a month ago. I love the grind and brew coffee maker. The only thing I don’t like is the Shoot doesn’t open when you unlock the hopper and remove it to clean the grinder Shoot. I have to unplug it and plug it back in for the shoot to open. You do have to keep the shoot cleaned out I clean it every couple weeks. This is the 3rd one I’ve gotten well worth the money. Just remember you do have to clean the Shoot or it will plug up with ground coffee and it won’t grind. It’s easy to clean. I would recommend this coffee maker.

Constant Maintenance
I've owned this machine for about two years and it requires constant maintenance to keep it going. It doesn't grind well, the silver disc is always plugging the machine up, seems like a new problem every day. Highly recommend avoiding this machine.

Thank you for your review and your feedback. Regular care and maintenance is required to keep your machine working properly. Depending on the oil content of your beans, oils can remain. Those can cause grinds to clog the chute, or can gum up the burrs or chute disc. But we'll definitely pass along your feedback to the appropriate people. We are continuously trying to improve our customer's experience.
Breville Coffee Maker flaws!
I have owned two of these coffee makers. My current one is 11/2 years old. I am a absolutely compliant at maintaining this appliance but it has a machine of many flaws! First the door started to pop open, and yes I know how to close the door. Second it started spraying ground coffee beans! Third the shot needed cleaned very very very frequently and then the metal wheel that should open has a mind of its own and only opens when it wants to! I love the company and coffee maker but they need to go back for severe quality control!
Not built to last.
Machine internally malfunctioned within 2 months of warranty ending. Cleaned regularly.

First timer
First time Drip coffee machine owner.. all seems great, with the customization features- timer to start morning coffee - wifes raves about the taste and freshness of the fresh gournd coffee compared to Nesspresso. Take slight effort to clean, but took about 1.5 days to get it down and seems pretty easy and straightforward. Breville is quiality procduct and have never been dissapointed. All good!, in fact perfect!

Wanted to love it
I've had my Grind control for 2.5 years. It took a long time for me to purchase - tediously researched something that was sturdy, made great coffee and was from a reputable company that backs their products (think Apple). Not so, it seems. I religiously followed the care instructions, descaling every 2 months on average. Early this year my machine started steaming and taking an overly long time to perk. When this started, although it wasn't scheduled for a descale nor was it saying it needed it, I descaled - yet it still steamed. I unplugged - still steamed. I pulled it a part (per instructions) and thoroughly cleaned it - still steamed. Now its steams and makes approximately 4 cups less than it was set to and takes twice as long. For the price of this unit, a 2.5 year lifespan is not acceptable. I was hunting for a new coffee perk brand to love, and this one isn't it.

Quality Appliance
We purchased this coffee maker a month ago, and so far we are extremely happy with our purchase! It is fast and quiet. It seems to be a durable machine. One of the things I appreciate about this appliance is the inner chute doesn't need to be cleaned as often as the grind and brew machine we had previously.
