So comfy!
This backpack has made traveling a breeze with how it simply slides onto my luggage for hand free travel with peace of mind that my bag is protected. It fits up to 15” laptops and protects it from any damage with the soft protective interior. The wide mouth opening allows for me to put things inside with ease and has interior pockets to hold things from moving around inside of it. It is lightweight at less than 3 pounds while still providing superior quality with the padded shoulder straps and back that helps provide lumbar support. My favorite feature is the built in sunglasses pocket! I wear prescription glasses and this always keeps my sunglasses stored safely and protected while I’m not wearing them.

A joy to own that approaches perfection
This bag has effectively become my mobile "home base," accompanying me everywhere. The wide-mouth backpack facilitates a clean, efficient organizational home that is a pleasure to pick up each day. I chose the deep navy option over the black (which is equally stunning) and feel the depth of the blue is reasonable for professional settings. Housing a water bottle securely is important for me and I can reliably maintain my 24 oz water bottle through vigorous travel and if a second bottle is needed on - the other side works in a pinch. The wide-mouth opening is a unique design choice that is a departure from all of my previous bags. The designed allows for keeping the bag open, next to my desk, serving as an extension of my workspace and reducing desk clutter. The wide-mouth zipper mechanism is high quality, but as others have noted, it can be slightly finicky at times, but not to the extent of causing daily annoyance. The easy-to-access zippered pockets make travel a breeze. I appreciate the inclusion of a hidden zipper on the back strap. However, I would prefer this pocket be located on the actual padded back of the bag as seen in other bags. On occasion, when placing an item in the pocket without looking, it has ended up behind the actual pocket. This requires a quick check to ensure the item is properly stowed, which is the worlds tiniest first-world problem, but worth noting. In terms of capacity, the bag holds an acceptable amount of items for its size. Its rigid structure doesn't allow for much stretch if you occasionally overpack, but this hasn't posed a significant issue for typical use. I do wish the front pockets offered greater capacity, though I understand this design choice is likely necessary to accommodate the wide-mouth opening. This is a supremely comfortable bag that travels well and is palpably high quality. Like any new piece of gear, you may need to make minor adjustments to your routine, but the bag works exceptionally well once you do. I look forward to using it every day and highly recommend it.

Best design ever!
I can’t believe how wonderful this backpack is. Whoever is on the design team really deserves recognition. Having a large open area and a backpack that stands on its own is a huge benefit to me. It’s lightweight and made very very well as all of their products are. It’s so nice having that large compartment.

Wide mouth backpack
Excellent ! One can see everything in the bag !! My last Briggs and Riley backpack 🎒 used daily for 25 years (Seriously 25 years- for work and travel) was not a wide mouth but convinced me to buy another. This one is even better! My only wish was I would have chosen a red one, similar to my old one. I could always find it :)

I FINALLY found the one!
I've been on the hunt for the perfect backpack for almost a year, and I’ve finally found it! This is hands down the most comfortable and functional backpack I’ve ever owned! This backpack checks every box (I am extremely picky): 1. Laptop Compartment: - Must accommodates my large waterproof laptop case (15. 35 x 10. 82 x 1. 4 inches), which was essential. - Must have separate laptop compartment. - Must have heavily padded laptop compartment with elevated bottom padding for extra protection if I decide to carry just the laptop without the case. 2. Interior: - Must have a light-colored interior to make finding things easier. - Must have numerous pockets for organization. 3. Exterior: - Ideally, a stylish, sophisticated, and feminine design with plenty of organizational pockets. At a minimum, it should have a gender-neutral, classy look—avoiding anything too masculine. - Must have a hidden pocket for Apple AirTag. - Must have smooth, durable zippers. - Must have a comfortable, large leather handle for easy carrying. - Must be spacious enough to hold everything I need (I tend to overpack) without feeling or looking too bulky (I'm 5'5" with a short torso). 4. Straps & Comfort: - Must have slip-through back panel for convenient travel - Must have comfortable mesh padding and shoulder straps, even when fully packed and heavy (tested with 2 laptops, 2 big water bottles, heavy binders, and other essentials). - Must have breathable mesh padding because I get hot too easily. Background: I used to carry a large Tumi leather tote for work and travel, but after upgrading to a 16" work laptop, it started hurting my shoulders. I’ve always preferred purses over backpacks, so finding the right one was tough. I tried several Tumi and Nomatic backpacks, but none were comfortable or functional enough. Then, I found a review from someone like me—who didn’t like backpacks but loved this one. I gave it a try, and I’m so glad I did! The wide-mouth opening makes everything super easy to access, almost like a purse. It’s the perfect mix of comfort and functionality for work, travel, and everyday use. Bonus: It's also much more affordable than Tumi!

Big hit at Christmas
My husband asked for the widemouth backpack because he feels it’s too difficult to get his laptop into many other models. We got this one in the beautiful blue color with a monogram. Everyone liked how it is a semi-solid design that holds its shape while you get things in and out. It’s got pockets in all the right places and is very sophisticated looking. My daughter was very impressed and I think will buy one for her husband as well.
