Large watch face

I’m still uncertain about this purchase. I am a petite woman and the watch face is much larger than I expected. I made the assumption the picture on the website was enlarged but that is the size of the face. It has a nice weight to it. I am concerned it may show scratches. I would only buy this on sale. I don’t think it’s worth the full price.
