This works really well to give texture and volume to fine silky hair. Leaves hair matt and it’s easy to add gentle or natural waves by scrunching hair. Also works to give extra grip for “up dos” when creating a relaxed, slightly undone look. Washed out very easily and doesn’t leave hair dry. Best to start with a little and add more as needed so your hair isn’t overloaded.

Very sticky
I bought the travel size of this wave spray to try it out. Firstly it does work great - it gives great waves and they hold all day. My only slight issue is I find it a very heavy/sticky spray compared with another brand I use. That said I would buy it again as it does work and it lasts all day.

Love this stuff
Traditionally you'd want your hair to be sleek and shiny and silky and every strand to slide effortlessly over the other....well this stuff does exactly the opposite. You get a fabulous scruffy, matte, crispy texture that I've been using on and off on my short hair since time began. Not sure how it would work on longer locks, but I personally hope they never stop making it.

not a fan
I do have long straight heavy hair but I do have layers but this does not help with waves. It makes hair fair rough/ sticky and horrible in my opinion. It may help enhance shape with someone with a naturally wavy hair type but a cant imagine anyone wanting that finish

It’s a no
Didn’t like this. Was hoping for a well performing spray to help encourage my waves into shape. Like another review mentioned it left my hair feeling very sticky despite trying a few times with less and less (1-2 sprays for overall at a minimum), and unpleasantly rough, and made things frizzy and unmanageable. I don’t think I’d buy this again. Possibly better for someone with straighter hair than me, for my natural waves it wasn’t a good fit.

Not great
I bought this as i was looking for a new salt spray and I have heard bumble and bumble is a great hair brand. I was not sold on this product, it didnt give my hair texture like beach waves, it just left my hair feeling sticky, knotty and matted. I would not recommend this product. There are many other texture sprays out there which do a better job.

Bumble And Bumble Surf Spray
I know that the Bumble And Bumble Surf Spray is a salt-infused hairspray, but had not realised it would leave my naturally wavy and fine hair dry, crunchy, matted and horrid to touch. Perhsps I am using it wrongly or it doesn't suit my hairtype, but I am glad I tried this cult product in store first.

Less is more
I was really optimistic about this product, but felt a little underwhelmed. My hair felt horrible to touch and actually more beach waves with out using it. I have used it once, will give it one more try and use less of it to see if it is better but I’m not holding out much hope!
