Not the best for dry lips
The Rose Lip Crayon looks and feels pretty—beautiful shade, creamy finish—and it glides on smoothly. But if you have dry lips, it won’t be your friend. It emphasises flakes and clings to dry patches rather than smoothing them. Colour payoff is decent and it lasts okay, but the dryness issue makes it more frustrating than fun. For those alreayd with cracked lips it just looks cakey and isnt that highdrating.

overall good, but poor value
A twist up stick of quite thick balm, this glides on easily without feeling oily or snagging on dry patches. The scent is quite noticeable, so be aware of this if you do not like rose. Like the original Baume de Rose, this gives a slightly milky look to the lips, and overapplication can lead to an unattractive build up in dry areas. This lasted quite a while on the lips, though not as long as a normal straight lip balm would, and I like the twist up dispenser which means you don't have to find a chunky pencil sharpener. I do feel you pay a lot for the convenience of the crayon format. You only get 2g of product for £28, which seems overpriced (the balm and glossy balm versions work out about £5 per ml, this is £14 per g), so I may not repurchase when I finish this one.

Lovely lip balm
I have used this balm for years, it is hydrating and looks lovely on. It smells nice too, not too sweet as many other balm are. The fact that it is a pencil makes it ideal for travel. The only reason I have given it 4 stars is because as I have got older and my skin tone changes it suits me less. I wish they would do this in other shades.

Perfect
My lips feel nourished for a good chunk of the day after I swipe this over them, and with it being enriched with ingredients like shea butter, ceramides, and vitamin E, it's easy to see why. I apply it with a soft touch as too much pressure can result in smudging the stick, although overall it is pretty hardy and I find that re-application is usually required by about evening time

drying!
I really didnt like this, I used to have the pot version which I really loved, but this version is very thin, clings on to dry patches on the lips which makes them more prominent and dosnt leave lips feeling hydrated for long the packaging and application is nice because it dosnt get product on your finders, but it could do with being a little thicker and have a longer lasting effect

Never without one!
I love these crayons, when I’m out and about or at work I don’t like to dip my finger into the little jar it normally comes in,so this crayon is amazing, the same but a crayon, apply straight to lips! I love it,and I’m never without one !

Expensive for what it is
This lip crayon has a slight rose scent, which does not bother me. However, it does leave a pale pink colour on the lips, which I do not consider flattering. Therefore, I was disappointed by the lip crayon because whilst the packaging is nice, the product is not what I expected and does not blend into the lip well.
