Lovely fragrance - but doesn't last long
I absolutely love how this fragrance - it's earthy and warm and smells very fresh and natural. However, it's a very light fragrance which doesn't last very long on me and I have to reapply it several times over the course of the day. I wish it was longer lasting - if it was, it would be perfect.

Please remember that fragrance reviews are very personal, as the experience does depend on how it interacts with individual skin chemistry. The opening reminded me a little of Debaser a - green milky fig note - cardamom and rose petals the notes say, but neither of us can find either of them. I find this part attractive but it very quickly slips into indeterminate vague woods instead - we are talking bland woods not blonde woods sadly. This was joined later by some sweet-ish wispy clean musk to make a nice enough, inoffensive but not every interesting melange of synthetic woods and laundry musk. The most interesting part was the opening for both my partner and I, but this was sadly brief. If you prefer a fragrance that does not have a strong personality, and would like to be enveloped in a sort of fluffy cloud of nothing very much, then this may be for you. It wasn't for either of us, and especially not at this exclusive niche price.

Not worth it
Beautiful name and I have imagined amazing scent of fire hot desert, with notes of old and dry woods and maybe some lightly sweet dates. Not happening here. For byredo this scent is very generic, for me. I feel like this is nothing special, very mainstream scent and very week scent. You can count minutes and the scent will be gone. Maybe for someone that really like skin scents, but this one is expensive.

The scent is very nice and it’s a great bang for my buck. I might even buy the full version of it!! The ingredients are very good overall for out skin.

Loads of reviews about the longevity and sillage
I have been smelling this in the Space NK stores for a while now and testing the longevity. I am surprised to see a lot of reviews about the perfume's smell not lasting: for me, I can smell it on my wrists for an entire day (with multiple hand washes a day, of course)

Good perfume
My friend really like this so I bought this as her birthday gift. However, it is not a woody perfume that everyone would like, so really need to try offline and decide buy it or not. It is one of the perfume that I would prefer use it on rainy or windy day, it helps to create a warm feeling through senses.

No Staying Power
This is a lovely scent, but it really doesnt last for more than an hour - if your lucky . I have even tried spraying it on clothes and the smell just dissapears, my daughter tried it too and felt the same about it. I have used other Byredo scents and been happy with them .At this price point I would have expected much better.

The scent is very special, but this was the weakest ever fragrance I tried (and I do use Jo Malone fragrances). Literally after 30 min I couldn't hear this scent at all anywhere - neither my hand, scarf or hair.. Very disappointing. The delivery and service from Space NK was great though.
