To whom it may concern, I hope this review finds them well. I would like to share a disappointing experience I had recently with Bloomingdale's, which has prompted me to provide feedback contrary to my usual positive interactions. Despite never having done business with Bloomingdale's before, I was encouraged by others to explore their offerings, particularly their clothing selection. Upon visiting the Bloomingdale's store in Manhattan, NY, I found a Macmillan Parka Canada Goose XL jacket priced at $1250. However, they did not have it in black, the color I desired. I decided to order it online where it was available and also opened a Bloomingdale's credit line to take advantage of their advertised 20% discount offer for the first 48 hours of card use. Applying for the Bloomingdale's credit card online required me to verify some information, which is understandable for security purposes. After approval, I was instructed to contact another department to place my order since they couldn't provide my credit card information directly. The card would arrive in 7-10 business days, but the 20% discount was only valid for the first 48 hours after opening. After a 25-minute wait on the phone, I placed my order with anticipation. However, several hours later, I received an email stating that my order had been canceled due to an inability to verify information related to the purchase. I was frustrated and had to spend an additional 20 minutes on the phone with Bloomingdale's to reorder the jacket, hoping to still receive the 20% discount. Excited to receive my Canada Goose Macmillan Parka XL in black, I opened the package only to find it was not the item I ordered. The price tag indicated it was an Alliston Jacket for women, retailing for $1125. The jacket was clearly used, with dirty pockets filled with hair, loose threads, fingerprints on the hood, feathers coming out, and a noticeable odor. This was a stark contrast to the new $1360.94 purchase I expected. After contacting customer service, they apologized and offered to send a replacement jacket, but insisted I return the current one to a Bloomingdale's store to avoid potential duplicate charges. Unfortunately, I do not live near a Bloomingdale's and commuting to the nearest UPS store for the return would be inconvenient without personal transportation. I am concerned about additional costs for transportation and whether the replacement jacket will meet expectations. Also, I am unsure if the 20% discount will still apply. This experience has left me severely disappointed and frustrated. It does not align with the high regard I've heard about Bloomingdale's. I may consider closing my credit line and will hesitate to make future purchases with your company. I intend to escalate this matter to higher management as the level of service provided has been unacceptable. I may also share my experience publicly to inform others about what to expect when ordering from Bloomingdale's online. Thank you.

5’5 165lb muscular build 30 waist purchased a size small. Small fits perfect but a little snug. If feels snug in the shoulders .i was very hesitant on getting a medium but afraid it would be too big. I’m happy with the size small. Jacket fits me with only light layering. It would definitely be too tight with a bulky sweater or hoodie. Quality is pretty good. They are rare to go on sale but you can find it if you are patient.
