Old Jacket
The jacket I received was nothing like the advertised photos. The jacket is an older version and shows signs of being a returned item that was put back for sale. For the price it is absolutely ridiculous to receive such poor quality item.
A winter essential, even in NJ
I recently purchased the Canada Goose Black Label Langford Down Parka, and it has met my expectations. This parka is the epitome of winter wear combining style, comfort, and functionality. The parka is incredibly warm, even in the coldest days, which occurred after I received it. I like the sleek, modern design. I wish it had a few extra security pockets inside. There is one for a cellphone, but a second is needed for a wallet. While weighing more than expected it is comfortable to wear. And a sturdy hanger will be needed. The Black Label is perfect because my preference is not to have bold advertising labels. I am not yet accustomed to the zipper being on the opposite side of other coats. Is it worth the investment, yes.

Deteriorating Quality
Not warm as advertised. Quality is much lower than years ago. Down Fill: barely puffy and not filled. Almost no down in the shoulders and chest area. Lining: cheap. Older models were smooth and silky Real World: even with a base layer, and cashmere sweater, was still cold walking EU Christas markets 25-40F, way above the 5F advertised. Competition: my Uniqlo is much warmer
