Beautiful & solid
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even though Caraway took great care in packaging it there were a couple scratches in the exterior color - which kind of tells me it's prone to scratching over time. I decided to keep it anyway because I really need new cookware/a way to boil water and have been thinking about buying this for almost a year.

Beautiful but not as functional as I’d hoped
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the white and gold tea kettle, and it looks stunning! However, for the price it cost, I’ve found myself sometimes wishing I would have bought a cheaper, more functional kettle. I find that the lid is difficult to remove - it has a good seal which probably is what makes the boiling more efficient, but also makes removing it to refill tough. It also takes some time to boil, what feels like longer than my previous kettle. I may be using too low of a setting, but since the instructions say low-medium, and I read other reviews about discoloration from too high flames, I’m hesitant to use it on a higher setting. All in all a bit of mixed feelings!

Discoloration of exterior

We have only used it a few times and have noticed large spots of discoloration on the exterior which has not improved despite all of the care and cleaning recommendations that came with the product. Not high quality or worth the expense.
