I really like this base and I do think it works when used with eye shadows, it helps to keep them in place and just feels nice and almost hydrating to use. I would recommend this if you’re looking for a product with this purpose.i have the lighter colour

Chantecaille does it again ti excel in every way
I have just bought my second Chantecaille New Generation eye base as it’s a game changer and part of my daily routine whether inside or outside . It lifts and illuminates the eye lid into the sometimes dark inner eye socket brightening over concealer and looking fresh used alone or as a great smoothing and long lasting base for any eye shadow choice whether matte or shiny. I also use it under my eyebrows for a bit of a lift too . The propelling ‘wand’ makes it easy and economical to use and build as desired . It yet another must have game hanger product from Chantecaille that you didn't know you couldn’t live without ! Please try it too .

Perfect Base
I have been using this for quite a while; the last one purchased must be about my fifth. I normally buy the light shade as I am quite fair -skinned and worried the medium would be too dark but this time I purchased the medium which was quite a revelation as it is actually the absolutely perfect shade . I like the fact that it is quick to use and it really does enhance the longevity of one's eye shadow and it doesn't alter the colour at all. I wear contact lenses and have sensitive skin, particularly around the eye area but this base causes no problems. My only complaint is that I do get through them quite quickly which is expensive but in my opinion it is worth every penny as really does make a difference.

Good eye base
I like this eye base very much, easy to use and the shadow stays put. I just wish the color had a more neutral look to it, as it appears pinkish to me.

Holy Grail
I have tried all the eye bases going. I like a really clean bright eye to wear makeup with, to enhance contrast, which adds to beauty. This little stick has changed my routine: I can use a little swipe and do the whole eye area and hey presto, eyes are poppin'.

Lovely eye enhancer you didn’t know you needed !
I tried this for the first time as part of a 20% off spend amount recently . I love it ! Iam a Chantecaille fan and use many skin and make up Products in their range . I had never really thought this lid enhancer / base was worth it / needed however - until I decided to give it a try - and now am hooked ! I use it daily either alone or as a lid colour base and it works beautifully as either , holding colour smoothly when needed or lightening the eye area to look more awake / rested . It really is the essential you ever considered . Give it a go !
