Disappointed - Received open product
I was very disappointed to receive an opened and seemingly used product from my order. While Clarins promptly arranged a replacement, there was no clear explanation of how such an issue occurred. The response I received felt standard and didn’t provide any real reassurance that the matter was taken seriously. As a loyal customer, I expected better quality control and accountability from Clarins. This experience has made me skeptical about ordering online again, and I’ll be checking product seals carefully with any future purchases.

Received an open product
I was very disappointed to receive an opened and used face cream in my recent Clarins online order. The outer box was creased, the container appeared worn with small chips, and the safety seal did not align, showing it had already been opened. While Clarins promptly arranged a replacement and I received a new, sealed product, there was little reassurance that the issue was properly investigated. The only follow-up I received stated that it would be "sent for further investigation," with no further explanation or outcome shared. Although I appreciate the replacement, this experience has made me hesitant to order Clarins products online again. I will be checking seals carefully in the future to ensure my products have not been tampered with.

Big air pocket in container = even less product.
I had a sample size of this and really liked it so I decided, though pricey, to purchase the full size product. I know that the actual container is mostly glass - but what I was not expecting was that, of the modest amount of product in the container there was a big air bubble inside the cream taking up a lot of space in what should've been the product. After removing the lid, I then pulled the small plastic disc from the top of the brand new cream and the huge air pocket was revealed when some of the cream stuck to the disc. It may be unique to the container I received, but it was very disappointing to have been shorted some of the small amount that was to be in the container. (I have had two other Clarins moisturizers of this size and had not experienced this where most of the small product compartment was air.) There was about as much in the large container as there was in my sample size. So the two stars given is not for the quality of the cream but the problematic quality control in packaging and the unfortunate lack of value for the product sold.
