high impact mascara...disappointing

I put on the high impact mascara expecting fabulous results. To my surprise, not only were my lashes not plumped up by this product, but as I started driving to my appointment that day, it began to irritate my eyes causing them to tear copiously. By the time I arrived at my destination, I looked like a had just been to see a 3 hankie movie! I was very disappointed to say the least, because one of Clinique's claims is that it allergy sensitive.
