Black Fir Trim
Issue is the picture does not match the product as the firm trim is black. I could give it 5 stars if the fir trim were the color indicated in the photo. Not a huge fan of the black fir trim

Literally coming apart at the seams
I read a previous review that said the zipper was detaching from the coat and thought it had to be a one off until the *exact* same thing happened to mine. I've only had it for a month. It also lost a button on the hood. Poor quality thread, and cheap lining. Very disappointing, I expect more from Cole Haan.

Nice coat but not as shown
Ordered this online and was please with the quality and fit of the coat. However, I thought I ordered a black coat with brown faux fur around the hood but received it with black faux fur. I tried to find this coat in the store to exchange it but it wasn't available in either of the two stores I visited. I did find a similar style in black with the brown fur which I liked so much better but that style was a little more casual than I wanted. I bought a size 10 and it fit perfectly. For reference, I'm 5'3" and 150 lbs. and typically were a M or L depending on the style. I'm still debating on whether to return this or keep it. Since the coat was not what I would call inexpensive, I am leaning toward returning it.

Attractive but Cheap
This is a very attractive coat but it completely fell apart within a month of wearing it. The buttons that hook the detachable fur trim on to the hood were the first to go. At least three of them came off and I can’t even wear the fur trim at this point. Then the zipper started detach and just swings around when I wear the coat. So unfortunate because it really was lovely. I probably won’t buy from Cole Haan again.

Perfect for the price!
Perfect coat for the price! The coat is a great buy that can be used to go out, for work and for a casual occasion. It's warm and have enough room for a sweater. It's comfortable and chic.

Hood trim is black faux fur unlike image
Nice quality but the hood is black fur and I don’t like that. I would’ve never purchased the coat if the image were correct.

Expected more from Cole Hann
I'm keeping this coat, but I was irritated to see that the buckle is cheaply made--vinyl instead of leather. It couldn't have made that much difference to have put a real leather buckle on the coat. I also thought the hood was detachable, but it isn't--my fault because it didn't say it was in the description. The color is REALLY dark plum, almost black. As someone else pointed out, the pockets are well made, and it is a nice coat. I'm keeping it because my husband likes it. Every coat I have tried on this year has been a bit snug. I was going to order a 12; glad I didn't.
