Professional without screaming “look at me”
It’s nice, but just start with the black diamonds. I have been wearing David Yurman for 18 years now and always have had a piece around my neck. I wanted to start adding to my daily (keyword here) attire. I wanted something that didn’t scream “look at me” (whilst this is quite hard with anything DY as there pieces are all beautiful) but still looked elegant and professional. While this checked off most of my boxes, it wasn’t enough for my liking. I happily exchanged it for the black diamond version and couldn’t be happier. The looks without compliments is there (isn’t that what we all aim for?) and it matches my 3.5 black diamond dog tag quite nicely (while I save for the curb chain in black diamonds). If you are working within a budget and want a piece that is clean and for daily use, the SS edition will do the trick. It is classy, clean and professional. However, if you’re on the fence, get the black diamonds. If you don’t have a budget, get the gold with diamonds lol. Any way you’re a winner. Welcome to the DY club.
