Bloomingdale’s needs to stop using UPS
Probably nice but never received. I had it shipped to a UPS access point because I knew I wouldn’t be home to sign for the package. I chose an actual UPS store. The tracking shows that it came to the hub in my city and then said unable to deliver, delivery location no longer in business. Come on. Sounds like the driver had a long day and didn’t want to drive to the suburb to drop off one thing. So it got returned to Bloomingdale’s. Usually if they try to deliver something and no one is there to sign you get a 2nd or 3rd attempt. Not here. Just shipped straight back. I would have gladly driven to the UPS hub 20 minutes away from my house to pick up. Customer service tried to tell me it was now re-routed to my house. Not what I paid for. I spoke to his supervisor. It was not rerouted to my house. It was, in fact, returned. But now I have to wait for it to get fully returned for a refund so that I can repurchase. I used a $100 reward so I have to wait for the refund. I was a new Bloomingdale’s customer (3 orders this season). 2/3 orders I’ve had to talk to customer service to get something resolved. After this mess is cleared up, I likely will not be a return customer unless they stop using UPS. Their customer service is kind, but don’t seem super well trained on the system. It’s just a hassle to shop here and not a hassle to shop other places.
