First looks can be deceiving.

Beautiful style, but for some reason the flat snaps are not a “snap” to close. Also, the shearling trim doesn’t go entirely around the sleeve cuff, leaving a 2” gap. The shearling collar is white/natural along the edge, which looks odd. I plan to color it in with a black Sharpie pen. It also would be nice to have a hidden snap in order to close the collar in cold weather. It’s a beautiful coat but not as well made as I thought at first glance.
