Reformulated But Still Potent

I did some research before I bought a bottle of the newest imagining of this 1985 scent because I'd heard it was reformulated long ago. Is it the same as the original? IMO, no, but it is very close. There is apparently one key ingredient in the original that they had no choice but to remove called Lyral. This is a synthetic floral ingredient that was a major component of the original fragrance but has since been restricted by regulatory bodies like the International Fragrance Association (IFRA) due to its potential as an allergen. Lyral was impossible to replace, and its removal significantly changed the scent, according to perfume experts. That being said, I still find it to have that potent, lingering quality of "what is that you're wearing?" where people can't quite place it. Does it last as long? No, but that's not such a bad thing considering I could never wash off the original. LOL All in all, I'd say go for it and see what you think. You can always return it. Happy shopping!

Classically captivating

When I first encountered this fragrance in the1980s, I was utterly captivated by it. I saved up my money to buy a bottle and wore it to the last drop. The formula isn't *exactly* the same as it was back then, but it still has the power to grab one's attention and hold it. Poison is a classic for a reason.

Been a while...

Poison, my favorite perfume in my 20's and 30's, been a while since a purchase. Very nice to try it out again. I love Dior because they always make me feel like I am a special customer and my purchase is of value to the co. Another thing I haven't seen from a co. since my 20's and 30's.

Poison

I accidentally ordered the eau de toilette instead of the parfum. It is a bit stronger smelling but it still has the Poison scent that I’ve loved since the 80’s.
