My favorite designer shades

I wear these every day. This is actually my 2nd pair in black. I love them so much I got the pink one too.

Very lightweight!

These sunglasses are very comfortable and lightweight. They are quite large and cover a lot of the face. I find that they do not need to be removed while inside as my regular sunglasses do. I purchased them for sun protection and they do a great job. However the downside is that they appear to be quite flimsy. And they are very expensive. The case is soft and should be hard in order to protect the glasses. I’m keeping them because they offer good sun protection and are comfortable. I hope that Dior has constructed them with some super strong material. The description offers no assurances of that.

Cool and very different!

I ordered 2 Dior Sunglasses, the Solight 1 (these in black) and the Solight 2 in black. I knew the Solight 2 would most likely be ok but I wasn't sure on the Solight 1. They both are nice but they both have different looks. The Solight 1 are VERY different and fashionable. They are HUGE, (almost as large as ski goggles just not as bulky) but was drawn to them due to me not having ANY glasses like these AND they are PERFECT for no makeup days (not black out lenses but still pretty dark) and extra sun protection for my cheeks and eyes. The Solight 2 are smaller but still oversized and they are stylish as well. Really, you can not go wrong with either pair. If you are more on the conservative side (and neither are really conservative), I would get the 2s. If you want something different from the rest, I would go for the 1s. They both are SUPER LIGHT in weight! Also they both have a nice set of "18k gold" color nose pads which really make the glasses look more up scale. For the 1s, which are the ones I decided to keep, I had to adjust the pads gently by pushing the gold arms of the pads up (going toward the top of the glasses, stopping right under the 3:00 mark). Then I pinched the pads closer together, a little at a time until I got the glasses to sit just right on my nose. Seriously, it took me a long time to get them right. Without the nose pads these glasses would fall off my face. After I was done, the pads are resting on the more narrower part of my nose near the upper bridge. By doing that the bottom of the frames are not resting on my cheeks at all (they come close tho) and you can BARELY see the arch of my brows peeking above the flat top of the glasses. They wrap around nicely too. With a side view, they are not flat looking. You will either love these glasses or you wont. They do take some getting use to. When I first tried them on I was like HECK NO! Lol. But after about 5 mins of switching back and forth on the 1s and the 2s, I decided to go for the 1s. I have another pair of common but nice Tom Fords in black so on the days I need to be more conservative I can wear those. I had 2 people love the 1s on me and 2 others like the 2s on me...however a few mins later the one that like the 2s started to like the 1s more. Hahaha. Hope this review helps someone. :)
