About The Fragrance

The Feu de Bois (Wood Fire) candle comes in a gray enameled porcelain jar stamped with the diptyque oval. The iconic scent evokes the smell of an open fire in the hearth: the wood crackles as flames slowly consume the logs, releasing their dense, smoky scent.

Great candle

Love the the larger 600g Diptyque candles. They look great and burn well with 3 wicks. Great scent and vessel can be used as decoration when candle if finished. Would make an amazing present.

You know when you purchase a candle from this brand that it will be a good one. Lovely scent which fills a room, very comforting now that the nights are drawing in. Would repurchase again as gift. Would love to try another scent, undecided upon which one to try next time! Maybe it’s time to try a festive one

disappointing throw

I love the Feu de Bois candle and have burnt the mini 35g, the small 70g and standard 190g sizes. All the ones I had gave a good throw, nice coforting smokiness. This one with its 3 wicks and hefty price tag, I could hardly smell without burning my nose! I've only burnt it a coupld of times, so maybe it will get stronger, but so far, disappointed.

Beautiful

The larger Diptyque candles are almost like an addiction! The vessels are just so, so beautiful and perfect to repurpose once the candle is done.... I normally tend to go for more fruity/floral scents such as Baies and Roses but this pot is just so beautiful I had to buy it... smells like you're sitting next to an open fire!

Worth it

All Diptyque candles are amazing and this was no exception. It has a very nice woody smell which I love as it feels very comforting. The candle is huge and looks amazing in my home. It also lasts forever and the smell fills up the whole room. Definitely worth the splurge.
