Unique and cosy

On first smell in the shop I initially thought it smelt to harsh and Smokey. But after buying a small tester candle as unsure was hooked on the smell! The larger size really works for a mid:large size room and captures that burning fire smell in a pleasant relaxing manner rather than aggressive. Would recommend and will be buying again.

Gorgeous

This candle smells like the most beautiful memory of staying at a cottage in the middle of the woods burning a log fire to keep warm on a crisp, cold day.The smokiness is addictively rich and earthy without being overpowering or too sweet. This is what a perfect day smells like to me.

Flawed design

This is one of my favourite Diptyque scents - it's amazing for autumn and winter as smells just like a warm log fire. However, this particular candle is really poorly designed. It's too large for just the one wick, which means the flame can't heat up all the wax and you never get a complete pool of wax, leading to tunnelling. You shouldn't get issues like this on a candle of this cost and supposed quality, so it's quite disappointing.

My favourite

I love Diptyque. Their products always feel like a little bit of luxury in your own home. Feu de bois is my favourite all time candle fragrance especially in winter months. It’s smoky and woody. I always have one in stock. Definitely adds a little bit of hygge to my home.on the cold dark nights
