Cute and Dainty

Very cute dress. Appropriate for an afternoon brunch, event, and more. I felt the flecks of gold were a little too much for the office unless I am goi.g somewhere special afterwards.

A classy addition to my closet

I love adding quality Donna Karan pieces to my wardrobe. The fabric on this dress is a beautiful deep color and a bit heavier. As a result, the skirt portion doesn't hug the body but stands out a bit. It looks and feels elegant. The skirt hits just below the knee and the zipper is well made and makes putting it on easy. I found it to be true to size. I sized up to a 10 expecting it to be like other higher-end styles that tend to fit tighter on me. However, I could have ordered my usual size of an 8 and been fine. For reference, I'm 5'9" and 142 lbs. and 36C.

This brocade dress is stunning. It hits mid length and can be dressed up fir a more formal occasion. And it was on winter clearance sale, where I bought it for 1/4 the original price. Donna Karan is a favorite of mine, and this dress did not disappoint.

Pretty

If you have a curvy or hourglass figure like me you might find this runs a little small. My suggestion would be to order up. If you have what are considered to be large breasts, this might fit a little snug depending on the size you choose. The material is rather stiff and inflexible but it holds its gorgeous shape. It is low-key sparkly so if that's not something you think you'd like, you might want to skip it. I absolutely love the pockets and they feel naturally placed not in a weird position. I was lucky to get this dress at a discount so if that's possible, I'd check for sales or coupons.
