What It Is

A sulfate-free body wash that cleanses the skin and leaves the body feeling soft, supple and smooth.

  • What It Does

    Dr. Barbara Sturm's mild Body Wash cleanses gently, without removing natural oils or moisture from the skin. The gentle formula is fragrance free and color free and contains skin-friendly plant-based tensides and glycolipids, natural biomolecules that provide a light foaming action that cleanses without drying out the skin. Hyaluronic acid and prickly pear extract provide intensive moisture and skin soothing, while sweet almond extract and almond oil have an intensive moisturizing and nourishing effect. Body Wash also contains purslane extract, an anti-aging powerhouse that contains antioxidative properties that help protect skin membranes from attack by free radicals. The gel formula forms a velvety, delicate foam and is suitable for daily cleansing, as well as for sensitive skin.

Love love love

Nice Gel Wash for Warmer Weather

I find this to be a lightly hydrating gel wash. It doesn't foam a ton. Its main virtue is that it's very gentle. Slight lactic acid content makes it mildly exfoliating, so I tend to use it after shaving. This will be great in the Spring/Summer, I tend to use something more hydrating other times of year. 2 pumps is all I need.

I’m still new to this

I’m still new to this product but I must say that my skin feels good. I apply the body lotion afterwards and my skin feels great! The only thing that o would love to add with this is some glow :)

Most effective and gentle body wash on the market

I used to be a tata harper guy until their customer service went down the drain and every order was coming with its issues. Dr. Sturm fulfills every order quick and accurately and it’s sad because the products come from Germany and still arrive much quicker than Tata Harper. They are such high quality products my skin is soft and supple with a beautiful glow. I feel like an angel when I look in the mirror and my skin looks like it has light around it. I know it sounds dramatic but if you use it everyday followed by the lotion you will get amazing results. 100% recommend this brand.

Not worth your money

Body wash does not lather and smells like it was made with a plastic chemical. And company does not allow returns if opened. How can one know if one likes/dislikes without trying

Superior than my expectation!

I am so glad that I found this product. I have a very dry skin and all the regular body washes leaves my body instantly dry and scratchy. Being a scientist by training I research everything that I buy. This was one of them and I so glad I thought of trying it though it was far more expensive than any other popular or high end body washes in the market. This product is very gentle, leaves your skin soft and does not feel dry at all for the next 18-20h without putting any moisturizing cream/lotion. Fantastic formulation. Kudos to the team!
