Dr. Sturm Cleanser

Good if you are a fan of the brand

Honestly, it's just … okay. The foam feels light, but it didn’t wow me for the price. It was a basic foaming cleanser for me, maybe its advantage was that it lasted a loooong time. There are much better options out there, maybe it's OK for those people that prefer to have the full routine for the same brand.

Nice gentle cleanser

A very gentle foam cleanser that does not dry out the skin. The foam feels soft on the skin and there is a slight clinical scent. I probably got this from a previous year's advent calendar and whilst it is a joy to use as a daily morning cleanser, I'm not sure the price justifies a repurchase.

Made me a convert

Used to be just a warm water splash kind of cleaner at night, but after a facial at a Blue Mercury store I became a convert. Love the way my skin feels after I use this.

Reduced my breakouts

This foamy cleanser is a fun to use, the mousse pumps out into a little cloud in your hand. My skin has been super clear since I've been using this, I’ve never suffered from acne or bad spots, only the odd hormonal breakout every now and then. I think this cleanser has reduced the frequency and severity of my breakouts so definitely recommend if that’s a concern. I will say it’s a little bit drying, I have to be sure to put my next layer of skincare on quickly after drying my face or my skin will start to feel a bit tight. My skin does sit on the drier side usually though so perhaps it’s more suited to normal/oily skin.
