    "The scent after it rains is a favorite aromatic genre of mine—and many people as it turns out. Perfumers have a few tools to use in the category of ozone--or things that smell like water and air.

    Geosmin is the scent molecule released from bacteria in dirt after it rains. What's lovely, is that the Geosmin blends with different aromatics in different environments. Whereas in the forest it smells dank yet fresh, in the city you get the scent of hot asphalt and concrete quickly cooled by rain.

    It is as if the whole city is boiling, overlapping in scent.

    And when rain and thunder come, all is released into the air in an instant. It smells fresh, unique and only of summer in the city. Concrete After Lightning is simple–you have the air, rain, steam and some of the weeds that grow in the cracks of New York City."

The smell is insane!

Unique

I don’t know how to describe this fragrance. But it’s gorgeous. Unusual and fresh. Floral but not sweet or cloying. It’s edgy and urban but not dirty. Just got that energy of lightning with the relax of lavender. Fresher than your usual lavender. Nothing standard about this. Great throw and a lovely clean burn.

If you are searching for a candle unlike any other then this is the one for you. The scent is incredible, really fresh and fills the room instantly. I absolutely love it and will be buying plenty more! The design and the packaging are really cool too.

Fresh, herbaceous and totally different

I bought this candle based on the name and it didn’t disappoint. The scent is totally unlike any other and is very hard to describe. I would say it’s fresh, soft and with a lingering throw. I don’t know what wet pavement smells like, but you can definitely smell herbaceous floral scents mixed with something warmer and a top note which is fresh. It’s a very relaxing summer scent

Favourite Candle - Bought on Repeat

This is my favourite candle from this brand and probably entirely! It’s difficult to describe - it is somehow fizzy and sparky mimicking lightning and the static electricity but also emanates a warmth of the type of days you get thunderstorms. It’s not floral, it’s not sweet…it’s not piney either - definitely recommend. The throw is good and the candle burns evenly and lasts well.
